Many surgical procedures for horses can be done safely and effectively at your farm using standing sedation, nerve blocks, and field-sterile technique. Below are some of the most common equine surgeries we offer:

  • Dental Surgery

  • Dermatologic Procedures

    • Laceration repair (acute and chronic wounds)
    • Skin biopsies for diagnosis of lumps, lesions, or persistent skin conditions
    • Mass removals (small, external growths under local anesthesia)
  • Ophthalmic Procedures

    • Enucleation (eye removal) in cases of severe trauma or untreatable disease
    • Temporary or permanent correction of entropion (inward-turning eyelids)
    • Third eyelid removal when medically indicated
  • Urogenital Surgery

    • Routine castration (gelding)
    • Caslick’s procedure for mares prone to pneumovagina or reproductive infections
