Victoria Duggan DVM

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Dr. Victoria Duggan has always had a passion for equine performance. Growing up riding in hunters, jumpers, and equitation gave her firsthand insight into the needs of sporthorses and their riders.

She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Guelph, followed by an internship in sports medicine and surgery at Moore Equine in Calgary, Alberta. Afterward, she was mentored by Dr. Kit Miller and spent three years as an associate with Miller & Associates, serving clients in both Westchester, NY, and Wellington, FL. These experiences gave her a strong foundation in lameness diagnostics, performance medicine, and emergency care.

Dr. Victoria is particularly focused on helping horses perform at their best, and she is available to travel for pre-purchase exams and lameness workups upon request.

She and her fiancé recently relocated to Massachusetts and are excited to settle into life on the North Shore. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Duggan enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and hiking with her Labrador retriever, Winston.
